Ben Fedorko, JD

On the STA Money Hour, Scott Bishop interviewed attorney Ben Fedorko with the Houston-based law firm of Gray Reed on the topic of “Family Wealth Planning – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly”.  Ben and his firm have experience in  all aspects of trust, estate and philanthropic planning and administration for individuals and families. He advises clients on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes as well as the implementation and administration of complex estate planning structures, including charitable planning and administration of family foundations and other nonprofit organizations. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to estate and succession planning for family-owned and other closely held businesses.  In this episode of the STA Money Hour, Scott and Ben talk about what makes up family wealth and share stories about how families can either leave a “good” legacy related to their family wealth…or may leave a mess of “the bad and the ugly” with bad planning or with a plan advisory team.
