Jacky Noons

On December 7, 2018 Scott Bishop hosted a special edition of the STA Money on “Business Succession and Success Planning”.  Scott discussed this topic and underlying planning issues with Jacky Noons, who purchased 3 Men Movers from her father and has grown it from a mom and pop business to a multimillion dollar company that leverages cutting-edge technology in a traditional industry. Recently she was named as one of the top female business owners by the Houston Business Journal and won the Enterprising Woman of the Year Award. When she is not leaping buildings in a single bound, she is running the most innovative moving company, 3 Men Movers, and is involved in many community outreach programs and mentors young business owners. If you have a question for her, you can reach out to her on LinkedIn. For those of you that are business owners that have not gone through this process, or are looking at a succession plan, this episode of the STA Money Hour will be of special interest.

Scott Has written many articles on this topic including one that discusses the Five Key Elements of a Succession Plan or Exit Strategy.  Scott has also spoken at many events highlighting business Succession Planning and Exit Planning.  Scott has also created several tools such as Business Succession Timeline and related Business Succession Checklist.  If you want copies of those tools, please email Scott at Scott@STAWealth.com or on LinkedIn or Twitter via @STAWealthAdv.

Jacky Noons grew up working in a multitude of crazy family businesses.  She is quite sure her parents broke every child labor law. She received her undergrad from the school of hard knocks and her MBA from Rice University. She took over 3 Men Movers in 2003 and has grown it from a mom and pop business to a multimillion dollar company that leverages cutting-edge technology in a traditional industry. If you have a question for her, you can reach out to her on LinkedIn or by calling 3 Men Movers at 713.333.6683.
