Michael C. Kuznicki

Biography

Michael C. Kuznicki has been providing solutions to financial challenges as both a corporate manager and an entrepreneur for over 30 years. Prior to joining Avidian, he was the founder and president of Ridgeback Capital Management. Michael has deep knowledge in debt and equity project finance, investment portfolio management, strategic tax planning, family wealth planning, retirement preparation, and risk management, with a focus on employee benefit plan evaluation.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. He also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Houston Chapter.

Michael and his wife Kathleen enjoy gardening, photography, traveling, camping, and community volunteer work. They have three adult daughters, Jennifer, Lee, and Lauren, and five grandchildren. In support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston’s mentoring mission, Michael is a former Big Brother and a former two-term member of its Board. He is a former Session member at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, where he chaired the Financial Committee, Michael also served on the Board of Brazos Presbyterian Homes, a retirement community in Houston.
