Michael C. Kuznicki

Biography

Michael C. Kuznicki has been providing solutions to financial challenges as both a corporate manager and an entrepreneur for over 30 years. Prior to joining Avidian, he was the founder and president of Ridgeback Capital Management. Michael has deep knowledge in debt and equity project finance, investment portfolio management, strategic tax planning, family wealth planning, retirement preparation, and risk management, with a focus on employee benefit plan evaluation.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. He also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Houston Chapter.

Michael and his wife Kathleen enjoy gardening, photography, traveling, camping, and community volunteer work. They have three adult daughters, Jennifer, Lee, and Lauren, and several grandchildren. In support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston’s mentoring mission, Michael is a former Big Brother and a former two-term member of its Board. He is a Session member at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, where he chairs the Financial Committee and also serves on the Board of The Retirement Community.
