Biography

Shaheen Ladhani is a senior investment professional and wealth advisor to Avidian Family Office clients and serves as Head of Avidian’s Endowment and Foundation practice. In this role, he advises families, nonprofits, and institutional clients on portfolio construction, governance, and long-term investment strategy.

Prior to joining Avidian, Shaheen spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. in Houston as an Investment Advisor, managing portfolios for private clients, endowments, and foundations. Earlier in his career, he held leadership and teaching roles at Rice University, including Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at the Jones Graduate School of Business and Adjunct Professor in the MBA program.

Before transitioning fully into finance, Shaheen spent eight years as Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach at Rice University, earning the NCAA National Coach of the Year award in 2004. He currently serves as Chair of the Investment Committees for The Center for Pursuit in Houston and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Shaheen holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Managerial Studies from Rice University, a master’s degree in Performance Psychology from the University of Houston, and an MBA from Rice University.
