Biography

Shaheen Ladhani spent 13 years as an Investment Advisor at Goldman Sachs & Co. in Houston, managing portfolios for private clients, endowments, and foundations. Before that, he was Director of Alumni, Corporate & Foundation Relations at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.

Before joining the fundraising staff at Rice University, Shaheen spent 8 years as the university’s Assistant Men’s Tennis coach, earning an NCAA National Coach of the Year award in 2004. Following his tenure with the coaching staff at Rice, Shaheen coached several tennis players on the pro tour while serving as a sports psychology consultant for athletes in various team and individual sports.

He has served as an adjunct professor at Rice University’s business school, teaching a capstone MBA course on Business Strategy for Nonprofits, and as Chair of the Investment Committees for The Center for Pursuit in Houston and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
