Biography
Weylon Andrus serves as an IT & Cybersecurity Operations Analyst at Avidian Wealth Solutions, where he plays a key operational role supporting the firm’s technology infrastructure and cybersecurity programs. He focuses on coordination, documentation, and process execution in close partnership with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and the Compliance team, ensuring all tasks and initiatives are completed successfully with strong accountability. With over 20 years of experience leading IT service desk operations in highly regulated, ITIL-driven environments, including SOC 2, HIPAA, FINRA, PCAOB, and IRS audit frameworks.
Weylon holds an associate’s degree in applied computer science and internet networking from ITT Technical Institute in Houston, TX. He completed Cisco Networking Academy programs (including CCNA Routing and Switching) at Lone Star College and is currently advancing his expertise through the CompTIA Cybersecurity Academy.
Outside of work, Weylon enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching and playing sports with his family.
